Had a wonderful time in Edinburgh, it was my partners first time going and he loved it. Edinburgh castle was our favourite tour as there was so much to see and very interesting, our guide John was very funny and I thought was lovely when interacting with others, asking us where we from etc etc that was nice, felt comfortable around him!

Enjoyed the tour, especially as my Scottish history needs a lot of buffing- you always get more of the visit if you have a guide unless you are familiar with the place. I only wished it was a little more flexible- only 2 tours available x the day and our group split up due to scheduling conflict (airport car pick up time) and could not join us to catch up. We were all able to tour the castle, but the stragglers were self-guided and had to wait till 1:30 pm to pick up the tickets to enter the castle. But the guys were very nice and did try to help us as they could!

Lots of fun and very interesting. A quick go around with the ability to go back and take your time later. Basic history of the castle, chance to notice things you might have missed, and plenty of opportunities to ask questions. We were very lucky and had a local running the tour, which I think helps immensely.
