What people are saying about Savannah
Hampton was our guide and was excellent. He really knew his history and was very enthusiastic as he shared his knowledge. We stayed on the tour throughout the 16 stops and planned on hopping in and off trolley after that but the long wait times to catch a trolley was discouraging. They are supposed to come by every 15-20 minutes which was not the case. We ended up walking.
We loved the tour. It was a great overview of not only the book/movie but also the city overall. Martin had great stories and so much knowledge about the area. It was a great way to see the city, get the history of many landmarks in the book and hear personal insight as well.
It was a fabulous food tour! We walked around, learned a little bit of history of Savannah, tasted great food, and enjoyed the company. The choice of restaurants and shops are excellent, and I'm so glad to try southern food with authentic taste, with a local twist.
My sister-in-law and I did the electric bike tour. We had Raye for a guide. He was incredible. We loved our bike tour, saw lots of historic places in all the wonderful Squares! So much fun and once again Ray was excellent!
The tour was great! I learned so much about the film, book and Savannah history.
