The downtown bus was great but the uptown bus wasn’t on cue when we passed specific sites. It would talk about them too early and when we reached them they were already talking about something else.
After pickup from Manhattan, the tour bus will take you through the Battery Tunnel directly to the borough of Brooklyn. Once you are in Brooklyn you'll head to the Dyker Heights district, an Italian-American neighborhood famous for its elaborate houses and gardens. Each year residents compete between each other to put up spectacular Christmas decorations, illuminations, and displays. Your tour guide will tell you about the origin and history of this tradition, before giving you free time to walk the streets to admire and take pictures of the houses. Once you have finished strolling around the neighborhood, you will get back on the bus to head to the Brooklyn Bridge. There you will enjoy the different viewpoints, with more free time to take pictures of the spectacular views of the Manhattan skyline. Finally, you will return to Manhattan where the tour ends. You can feel free to ask you...
Use The New York Pass on your phone to allow you cash-free entry to over 100 New York tourist attractions. It’s a bit like an “all you can eat” buffet; once you’ve bought your New York Pass, you don’t have to pay to get into any of the attractions covered by the pass, and the more sights you see, the more money you save.
The New York Pass records when and where you first use it, as well as how long it will remain valid. This means your pass is activated the moment that you first use it at any attraction or service. Your New York Pass is then valid for the number of days that you've purchased.

I didn’t have any problems with the pass. It was show/reserve and go experience, and it allowed us to do most of the attractions, including others we had planned. I had a good trip with it.
If you are looking for something to do in New York City during this holiday season make sure you put this on your list. It is cheery, it is bright, it is Christmas, it is New York City, and it is everything Christmas about Christmas. This Brooklyn neighborhood is out of this world during Christmas time. Dyker Heights Christmas Lights is the cutest and most spectacular area of houses decorated for the holiday season. It is blocks and blocks of Christmas lights and fantastic decorations. The neighborhood goes all out with beautiful nativity displays, nutcrackers, inflatable santas, garland, lights and more. The place glows with bright lights, buzzes sound, and bumps with holiday music on full blast. It is fun to see how some houses mix it up every year. It is a recommended experience and a perfect night out for families, groups of friends and even a date night. This is a great place to go...
Daniel was very nice and knowledgeable. Small crowds due to COVID so we were able to enjoy without worrying. Everyone wore face masks.

With the New York Explorer pass, we selected the 7 most important sights. Then I started planning the days. I got to know the subway and bus transportation in New York and planned where and how to go. Now I’m nearing the end and enjoying it more and more. I’ve been to the U.S. several times, but I’ve avoided big cities by far so far. However, I was in almost every National Park. I think we will enjoy that too.

Manhattan has so much packed into a small island – almost 30 distinct neighborhoods ready to strut their stuff for you. The Battery invites with riverside parks and views of the Statue of Liberty. Times Square beckons with its neon lights and Broadway glamour. Central Park brings smiles with its zoo and Strawberry Fields. Plenty of skyscrapers show off the city views – the Empire State Building, One World Observatory and the Top of the Rock are just a few. Museums as fancy as their exhibits – the Guggenheim, the Intrepid, and the Cloisters.
Manhattan is just one borough in New York City. You also have the Bronx, Brooklyn, Queens, and Staten Island, all with experiences to share. A hop-on hop-off excursion through New York City could help you sample all the flavors here.
Hop-on hop-off sightseeing tours show you New York City like nothing else can. You get amazing view from the open top decks as you ride down 5th Avenue, Broadway and 34th Street. Skyscrapers, buildings, townhouses, parks flow pass on either side. Your pics will look like stills from a movie, especially when crossing the Brooklyn or Manhattan Bridge. And if your tour has an evening or night option, you’ll see why this city never sleeps!
Along with the views, you get the experiences and you can make them all your own. Explore every stop or simply sit back and enjoy the ride. Missed something or found a fave? The tour will circle that way again. And you can get to all five boroughs thanks to hop-on hop-offs. No toll fees, no train or bus transfers and no getting lost. Just make sure the one you pick includes them.
The audio commentaries are good for history and factoids but chatting with the guide can give your experience some local flair. You may discover a New York City you didn’t expect!
Get into an Empire state of mind with every stop. Jot down some truly New York spots that you can visit on a New York hop-on hop-off sightseeing tour.
Either the 86th or the 102nd Floor observation decks offer 360 views. Just please don’t throw pennies. And don’t miss the 2nd Floor exhibits, including a King Kong experience where you might encounter that great ape.
You’ll almost wish that the movie “Night at the Museum” was a true story... Or maybe not as you pass by the T-Rex skeleton. Every exhibit, from the lions resting in the savannah to the Easter Island statue, looks like they’re bursting to come to life!
Built as a tribute to New York’s resilience, the observatory is quite a spectacle. The Sky Pod elevator puts on a show as it takes you up 102 floors. Test your fear of heights on the Sky Portal as you look down over 100 floors.
This used to be a seedy, nasty part of town. Now, it’s full of neon signs and street performers. Stock up on snow globes and take a selfie with Spider Man or the Cookie Monster. Or grab discounted seats for a Broadway show at TKTS after the tour. If you hop on for a night trip, you should make sure this is on the route!
Funky looking on the outside and in. And no need for stairs. You can walk up and down the spiral rotunda to each floor. The view down the center will be an artistic experience all its own, and sometimes you might catch some performance art.
At 2.5 miles long, you should plan your visit ahead of time. Beatles lovers head for Strawberry Fields. History buffs look for Belvedere Castle. “Madagascar” fans visit the zoo. Ask your guide or driver for the best spot to hop off depending on what you want to see.
Note that some tours are valid for only one day or for a few hours over a few days. Check their schedule to make sure it syncs with yours. Many tours offer tickets to your choice of museums as well as entrance to observations decks at One World Observatory or the Empire State Building. And with the Hudson and East Rivers all around, you may also get a free boat tour or ferry ride.
Worried about missing the next pick-up? You can download an app for that. Some operators have apps so you can track where the buses are. And you can often use free Wi-Fi too.

This was an amazing experience. I took my boyfriend who loves jazz for his birthday and he loved it. Music was great and being outside seeing the skyline and Statue of Liberty was very romantic. The crew were all very nice and even gave us a free drink at the end of the night.
This was a great trip for a great price. Our guide, her name is Isabella I believe made the tour so much better. She is highly knowledgeable and very witty and funny. We loved the experience. I would highly recommend.
The captain knew much of the history surrounding the harbor and the Burroughs. It was time well spent.
Very nice views and excellent experience around the entire island of Manhattan.
Our guide was fantastic. I highly recommend the whole experience.
